The story of Lumen Dei began in a quiet place. Back when i was in Michigan, I carried a deep desire to explore creativity and photography but I didn't have the means to buy a camera. Still, that desire never left. When I moved to Texas, doors began to open. I was finally able to purchase my first camera and started capturing moments wherever I could. My pastor noticed and encouraged me to keep going. That this wasn't just a hobby but something God wanted to use for His glory.

Not long after, I was sitting in a Starbucks when the name Lumen Dei came to me - Latin for "Light of God" - along with the tagline: Capturing the Heart Of God. Even the image of the logo - Seeing a dove resting behind the lettering. After showing my pastor, I knew this was more than just photography but a calling.

I began by serving my church, capturing moments of worship and ministry. But as time went by, I felt the Lord leading me to create what he gave me to build. Something that would carry his heart into the world through visual storytelling. That's how Lumen Dei started and the heart behind every image I create today.

Lumen Dei exists to glorify Jesus through the world of visual media. To capture his heart on earth through the reflection of the creative. This isn't just about visual media but a ministry first, aiming to transform lives, reflect the nature and character of Jesus, and inspire hearts wherever I go - building genuine relationships along the way.

At its core, Lumen Dei is devoted to establishing a holy and uncompromising standard in media production: one that holds fast to both excellence and truth, and reveals the beauty of Christ in every detail. I'm not here to simply capture your story - I'm here to know you. To understand the heart behind the moment, the person behind the frame. Because when we truly see one another through the heart of God, we reflect the One who loves us, died for us, and sees us fully.

The aim is simple yet eternal - to illuminate the light of God throughout the world and reveal the reality of his kingdom here on earth.

1. Biblical Alignment: Every project, creation, and decision is deeply rooted in scripture, ensuring that all work glorifies God and aligns with his truth. Lumen Dei belongs to Him - therefore any project that is presented that stands in conflict with His Word and truth, will be graciously declined. This is more than just creating, but a ministry devoted to honoring Jesus above all.
2. Excellence As Worship: Excellence is not about perfection but about honor, detail, and reverence. Every detail, from the smallest edit to the final delivery, is done as an offering to God. I believe that excellence reflects His worth and the work that is done is an act of worship.
3. Working In Light: The work that is done is founded on honesty, holiness, truth, and integrity. From communication to creation, I seek to reflect the person of Christ in every word, design, story, and interaction. I believe creative work should be carried out in the light - free of compromise and full of grace.
4. Spirit- led Creativity: Before any session begins, I pray it through. I seek God's heart for every story and rely on the Holy Spirit's guidance in the creative process. My aim is not to just capture moments, but to reveal what God feels and sees- ensuring His heart is expressed through every frame. If desired, I'm honored to pray with you - both during the creative brief and throughout the actual session and even after inviting the Lord to move throughout your story and make his presence known in every moment.
5. Kingdom Impact: Lumen Dei isn't just about visual media - it's about building the Kingdom of God through it. Every story told is an opportunity to plant seeds, stir hearts, and point people back to the King.
6. Heart Of Worship: At the center of it all is worship. The work is an offering to Jesus - a reflection of love, devotion, and reverence for who he. Everything is created from a place of love, with a desire to serve and honor others as He has loved and served us.
7. My Heart: At the core of everything I do - before the camera, before the edits, before the storytelling, - my greatest desire is this: That Jesus would be glorified in it all. This is His Work. His Story, His heart, His light. I"m simply a vessel, and it is my joy to offer every moment, every frame, and every opportunity back to him.

Lumen Dei began as a whisper — a sacred impression from the heart of God.

What started as one creative soul listening for His voice

will become a global movement of light bearers revealing His glory.

The vision is to establish God’s global visual media production house on the earth —

a company commissioned to capture His heart and reveal His person

through the language of image, sound, and story.

Not for entertainment, but for encounter.

Not for trend, but for testimony.

From this seed will grow global outposts — Lumen Dei Asia, Lumen Dei Africa, and beyond —

hubs of consecrated creativity where the messengers called the Luminarii will continue to build the vision.

They are the forerunners and sent ones,

messengers of light, devoted to revealing the beauty of the King.

Trained to hear His voice and express His heart,

they will become His lanterns — revealing what the world cannot see,

testifying through art, design, film, and image to the glory of the unseen God.

Every project, every story , every creation will become a vessel of divine revelation,

that the nations might behold Him — not only in word,

but in the fullness of expression that flows from the Creator Himself.

Our charge is simple, yet eternal:

To go into all the earth and capture His heart.

To reveal Yahweh’s revelation to every living soul —

that every nation, tribe, and tongue might encounter

the beauty, truth, and glory of Jesus Christ.

This is the vision I carry.

This is what I’ve been sent to build.

And though it begins with me, it will not end with me.

It is the Lord’s doing — and it will be glorious upon the earth.

A creative company marked by purity, holiness, excellence, and Spirit - led artistry. With only one charge, one mission, one goal - to reveal Jesus to the earth through His creation.

Right now, photography is the first branch of that vision. It's the foundation. The beginning. But it's only the start of what God is building through Lumen Dei - brick by brick, frame by frame.
